This Privacy Policy describes how Actofy handles information when you use our desktop app and related services. It is a draft pending legal review.
Summary
- Actofy is local-first: your repository working copy and run metadata stay on your device by default.
- Model prompts are sent to OpenAI or Anthropic using keys you provide (BYOK). We do not train on your proprietary code.
- Hosted tiers may store workspace sync data and audit logs in cloud infrastructure you opt into.
Information we process
- Account and workspace identifiers (hosted tiers)
- OAuth tokens for connected source control (encrypted at rest locally)
- Run logs, tool outputs, and audit events (local JSONL / SQLite by default)
- Billing and usage metering (hosted tiers only)
Your choices
You can revoke integrations and delete API keys from Settings at any time. Local tier users can uninstall the app and remove local data directories. For deletion requests on hosted workspaces, contact legal@actofy.ai.
